to Viper and Bala

AS i don't know how to reply to comments so Iam publishing, thank you for not forgetting Vidat .

dEARViper what is ur real name?

Dear Bala ur comments were touching and brought tears to my eyes.

Lesson/s contd

They r poor and don't have the most important sense of all senses' sight' yet they never lose hope.
One gallant young man of 28 lost the oppurtunity of becoming a govt teacher, a coveted post due to security and pension, by a whisker,. as the cut off date was just a month before his regsn in employment exchange. He said so what ma'm i' ll try and get a central govt job where one can work upto 60 yrs as against only 58 in a state govt job.Phew'.

The other day some heinous fellow snatched away that handsome and gallant blind youth's satchel, removed his prized mobile,[ bought after much scrimping and saving ] walkman and 1000 Rs cash, when that blind youth was proceeding from the station to a job interview in Madurai, and deposited the bag in a bus which was retrieved by the driver and handed over. That young man said without any bitterness m'am that thief must be a educated one as he did'nt throw away my certificates and i have got them back,Iam quite lucky.

Oh what a generous and forgiving nature. I have so much to learn, even if I have eyes to see they see more clearly with inner eyes.To that poor boy the mobile was his most valuable possess ion, yet he has no bitterness or rancour in having it been stolen. It is all part of life.
So here I go huffing and puffing ostensibly to read and teach B.A or M.A lessons etc but definetly land up learning some valuable ones from them.

Lesson's

I was invited by the asst at college grads blind association to attend Braille aniv on 24 th jan .How am i connected to braille? oh yes indirectly thro' the visually impaired students to whom i read out lessons or fill up forms or put in my seal when attestation's are needed.
I [a grief stricken mother ] was directed to that place to render my services.I can quite easily relate with with them all tho' they are from a lower class coz both of us r confronted with the q uestion WHY ME ?The common thread traversing class, gender ,caste, c olour and age is our sorrow. They r young,
r there fore able to mask their sorrow and I am middle aged and am trying to come to terms with mine.
I wanted to donate money for books etc and ease my conscience when one young tottally blind man said m'am the service u render like reading etc is 100 times more useful than the money u wld like to dona te.Another yng man said m'am remember the proverb dont give fish but teach a begging person to fish.It was a slap on myconscience, with all my edu and experience i have a lot to learn from these yng souls.
to be contd.

Lucky by chance.

A poor person who sleeps out in the open with myraid stars as one's ceiling and gentle wind to fan one is far more lucky [ if only that person knew ] than a person who sleeps in a A.c room with all doors shut breathing stale air and paying for keeping one away from god's wonderful creations -sky, stars, moon, gentle breeze, space, openess and the feeling of belonging and oness.

free

The best things in life are free . The air one breathes and the life one has been bestowed with .You don't have to pay to breathe or to be born.

The cool early morning breeze that lifts one's spirit and refreshes one is absolutely free.

The green grass and the dark green leaves of trees and the blue sky and the blue ocean which are a feast to the eyes and balm to a hurt soul does'nt demand a fee. The sight one has to see such beautiful sights and the capacity to hear the sound of waves in a beach and the thrilling sweet talk of a baby and the soothing chirping of birds is also free. God made human beings free. But man hmm has put a price tag for every thing.
