Favourite past times:As a child [2 to 5 years]Sprinkling the floor liberally with Johnson baby powder and skating on it joyfully. Vidat was greatly amused by crawling creatures and had absolutely no fear of them. He used catch cockroaches,geckos and kittens and pet them and dangle them merrily and release them after a while .[I was glad that there were no snakes around]
Pinching everyone's ear lobes especially Vineet's all the while singing a song created by him ''kadha killi ....''.
Giving Vineet a different name each day-Vingeet, dhadia, sony ........I named my 2 nd son [Vineet] as Visisht on the 10th day after birth[ naming ceremony] but Vidat kept calling his younger brother with a new name each day [it may exceed 100]
Chewing fresh bus tickets [his entire classmates at school copied Vidat and started to chew paper]

Ive heard so many stories abt Govind:) Damn funny ones. How Govind used to a comptn for him as a child. V have laughed over those like maniacs.
Dear Gayatri Thankyou for reminding me of Vidat's favourite phrases. He often used words like Jujupee,[easy] flop show,[when something went wrong]machchi[addresing his friends]sathyama [whilst stating a fact] ofcourse dont put bikki[dont let me down] and several other words which at the moment I am unable to recollect.There was never a moment of boredom when Vidat was around. sujata. sujata

During college days Vidat's conversation's chiefly consisted of a succession of one liners and phrases like 'take a bikki' ,jujupee etc which I could barely understand until one day he patiently explained the meanings.to what you refer as svce lingo.
It was your reference to your favourite philosopher Vadivel that made think of Vidats favourite philosopher ' Gaundamani' during college days and his other favourites as well.
Thanks for sharing so much information about him.I would also like to add that he is a very good programmer.
