Acts of kindness

Nothing touches me more than an act of kindness .The act of that middle aged man to distribute food packets to vagabonds, destitute as well as dirty people wandering around or sleeping on the pavements, willingly sacrificing his morning walks on and off, in the sheltered clean park trodden by people of his age and class who alight from their clinically clean car only to jump back into their islands of comfort once their exercising and socialising is over.
As also the kindness and patience of that well to do woman for finding the time and the willingness to part with money to dole out delicious pongal vadai to all those hungry, ill fed poor people forming a queue as long as the queue of the well endowed[with health, wealth etc] devotees who worship the deity in fond hope of being bestowed with more wealth, and ease their conscience [that pricks them for not doing any thing substantial for the deprived lot ],by tossing a few coins at the beggars and hurrying off to make and chase money .
